PROCESS OF BOOKING THE VIDEO CONSULTATION
Step 1:- Download the application (app) VERTIGO AND DEAFNESS CLINIC from Google play store using an android phone.
Step 2:- Register in the app by feeding in the NAME, AGE, MOBILE NUMBER, and the E-MAIL- ADDRESS
Step 3:- An OTP will be received on the mobile phone and after typing in the OTP and submitting it, the registration will be completed.
The client will then receive DASHBOARD or a homepage of VERTIGO AND DEAFNESS CLINIC in the mobile phone by SMS as well as in the computer through the email address that has been registered.
Step-4:- In the dashboard/homepage, the patient has the option of booking appointments himself/herself as per slots available. Once the client clicks on Appointment the client will be redirected to a page where the option of Video and /or Clinic Consultation will be seen. The patient has to select VIDEO for booking a video consultation. The client will then be directed to another page showing the time-slots available for video consultation. The patient then has to select the convenient time-slot and click on the BOOK for booking the appointment. The patient will then receive a message by SMS confirming the appointment for video consultation.
For the VIDEO CONSULTATION process after the booking has been done:-
For VIDEO CONSULTATION (after the appointment process has been completed) and the time is confirmed by SMS received in the patient’s phone, the patient will see the appointment details in his “Active” Appointments in the VERTIGO AND DEAFNESS CLINIC app as and when he opens it. The patient can see the option “Join“. Click on the join option (please give permission for Camera/ video and microphone so that you can be seen and heard by the doctor) and do the consultation at the scheduled time. To the patient who has self-contacted our clinic, VERTIGO AND DEAFNESS CLINIC at BJ 252, Salt Lake KOLKATA, PIN 700091, INDIA or its proprietor Dr Anirban Biswas, a practising neurotologist for consultation regarding neurotological problems (i.e., disorders related to vertigo /dizziness/ unsteadiness). This detailed video consultation after sending the patient’s videos is ONLY for patients who have already done an ‘in-person consultation’ with Dr Anirban Biswas in his clinic or who have already done a normal video consultation with Dr Anirban Biswas previously. The link will give you nineteen videos with instructions for recording some of the common neurotological clinical tests by seeing which Dr Anirban Biswas will be able to get some idea of the disease you are suffering from. This is being down in good faith for your benefit and you may download the videos only if you trust your doctor and have read and understood the terms and conditions given below. Don’t click on the link or download the files if you have any problems in sharing your videos. Protection of your videos and any third party misuse of the videos is not guaranteed by Dr Anirban Biswas.

It will take Dr Anirban Biswas at least 3-5 days, may be a little more to see them and analyse them and only after confirming from his secretary Mrs Reena Chatterjee (Ph +919836002580 or his clinic at +919051352580) that he has seen them, book a video consultation with him after paying the charges for the DETAILED video consultation as instructed. Please mention that you are seeking a DETAILED video consultation as charges for this is different from that of a usual video consultation.
- Since you are sending your videos you are knowingly risking your privacy. Dr Anirban Biswas is a medical practitioner and NOT a computer professional with an IT-background. Hence your sent videos can be accessible to others and even be misused for purposes not acceptable to you. Dr Biswas or VERTIGO AND DEAFNESS CLINIC cannot guarantee any protection against it. Please DO NOT send / upload your videos if you have any issues / problems on this. Dr Biswas or the clinic will not use your videos for any other purpose, other than for diagnosing your disease if any but cannot guarantee protection against unintended use.
