Vertigo and Deafness Clinic remains open from Monday to Saturday from 09.30 AM to 06.00 PM (Currently due to the Covid-19 scenario) for consultation on neurotological disorders i.e., Vertigo and Deafness, and for different vestibulometric tests and audiological tests done by audiologists /doctors and for dispensing of hearing aids.

Dr. Anirban Biswas is available daily from 9:30 am to 12 noon and in the afternoon from 4 pm to 6 pm by prior appointment for a consultation on the treatment of neurotological disorders ( i.e., vertigo and deafness). This clinic also has a state-of-the-art setup for dispensing sophisticated high-end hearing aids. All requisite arrangements for dispensing high-end digital hearing aids like REAL EAR INSERTION GAIN apparatus, HEARING AID ANALYSERS special music room with a 5.1 top-end music system for aided trials ( i.e., hearing tests for sounds and speech with the patient wearing hearing aids) on patients in different simulated sound fields is available in this clinic. It has the latest diagnostic equipments like Interacoustics Videonystagmography apparatus VO425, Otometrics Chartr200ENG / VNG as well as the SYNAPSYS  Videonystagmograph , VNG machine made by NeuroEquilibrium all complete with setup for oculomotor  tests which is a very important part of vestibulometry for evaluation of central balance disorders. Facilities for air caloric stimulation (Aircalof Otometrics) for patients with perforation in the ear drum as well as for those patients who dislike water irrigation in the ears, in addition to the conventional water caloric stimulation are available in this clinic. Other tests for evaluation of Vestibular function like Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (both ocular and cervical VEMP) of Otomertics Chartr EP 200, Interacoustics Eclipse Evoked Potential System as well as that of the Labat Epic Plus system, Video Head Impulse Test (VHIT) from Otometrics and Synapsys and the Subjective Visual Vertical test from Synapsys and NeuroEquilibrium Systems and the Computerised Dynamic Visual Acuity (DVA), Stabilometry (static posturography) tests are available in Vertigo and Deafness Clinic. Other tests of the vestibular system available here are Craniocorpography (CCG) and Electronystagmography (ENG).
